Telstra’s Customer Service Debacle – My Frustrating Experience

Title: Zero Stars for Telstra – My Experience with Unnecessary Headaches Let me paint you a picture: you’re finally taking control of your phone account, switching it into your own name. It’s a small but empowering step, right? That’s how I felt recently when I moved my Telstra account under my name. Little did I know, I was walking straight into a customer service nightmare. The Issue: Upgrade and Protect Gone Missing In the process of transferring my account, Telstra decided—without my knowledge or consent—to remove my “Upgrade and Protect” service. This was an essential feature for me, and I had no intention of giving it up. Yet, it was gone. When I contacted Telstra to fix their mistake, I was told that the service could only be added at the point of sale. Excuse me? That’s completely untrue because they’ve added it as an  add-on  for me in the past. Complaint #1: Open and Shut, No Resolution Determined to get this sorted, I filed a complaint. Telstra’s response? “W...

What Mental Health Means to Me: A Journey of Growth and Resilience

Image
Mental health is the backbone of everything I do, and I firmly believe it’s about far more than just “feeling good.” It’s the foundation for strength, focus, and resilience—the qualities that enable me to navigate life’s challenges, find balance, and pursue my passions to their fullest potential. My own journey has shown me that mental wellness is not just an abstract idea; it’s a daily commitment to self-care, introspection, and growth. 2015: A Turning Point In 2015, while transitioning to programming for athletes and managing group fitness classes, I had a revelation about the deep connection between mental and physical health. One of my clients was physically in peak form but mentally burnt out. That experience made me realize that true fitness requires both physical conditioning and mental resilience. Since then, I've integrated mental wellness as an essential part of every program I design. Daily Habits for Mental Health Every day, I practice meditation, reflective journaling,...
