Coffee with Luke – A Chat Over a Cup
Hey everyone,
I know this episode of Coffee with Luke might not be what you were expecting, but I wanted to take a moment to just sit down, sip my coffee, and share a little bit about what’s been going on with me. It’s been a bit tricky finding people to feature in my blog, so if you know anyone interesting—whether they’re in business, sports, entertainment, or just have an inspiring story—let me know! I'd love to chat with them and share their journey.
Navigating Life’s Ups and Downs
Lately, I’ve been dealing with some ups and downs with my anxiety. Some days are good, some not so much, but I’m managing it the best I can. One of the biggest positives recently has been finding an amazing physiotherapist, Travis Masters. He’s been helping me with my arthritis, my T12, neck, shoulders, and feet. It’s been such a relief to have someone new working on these issues while still continuing to see my long-time physio, George Campbell. George has been a rock for me, and I still really value my sessions with him.
This past week, I also treated myself to a one-hour massage with the wonderful Jenny Johnstone. Let me tell you, it was much needed! And, of course, I had my regular check-in with my podiatrist, Aaron Anger. He always helps keep me on top of my foot health, which makes a huge difference in my everyday life.
Exciting Book Releases & Events
On Wednesday, April 2nd, Lucinda Light’s book is coming out, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. I’m so excited to read about her life and the wisdom she shares. Plus, on April 9th, I’m heading to a book event with my cousin Jacqui to see Brooke Boney at Mermaid Waters in Burleigh Heads Library. I absolutely love Brooke—she’s such an inspiring TV presenter and influencer, and I’m definitely picking up her book too.
Gratitude for Mum’s Recovery
Last but definitely not least, I just want to say how incredibly grateful I am for my mum’s recovery. She’s been doing really well, and I’m beyond thankful for all the people who have taken care of her and supported her along the way. Seeing her in good health brings me so much relief and happiness.
That’s my little coffee catch-up for today. Thanks for reading, and if you have any recommendations for people to feature in my blog, feel free to reach out!
Until next time,
Luke ☕
