Coffee with Luke: My Anger Boils Over – Telstra, You’ve Pushed Me Too Far

Let me be clear. I’ve had enough. I’ve tried to be patient. I’ve tried to get help. I’ve made phone calls, spoken to customer service, followed their process, waited for answers. But nothing changes. So today, I’m letting it out – raw, unfiltered, and real.

Telstra, you have absolutely failed me.

You removed the “Upgrade and Protect” from my plan without telling me. You promised it would stay when the account was changed into my name – your team said that. But now it’s gone. No explanation, no warning, no apology. And the worst part? You act like it’s my fault. Like I’m supposed to just accept it and move on.

I’ve contacted Telstra over 30 times about this. More than THIRTY TIMES. And still no resolution. Every time I get passed around like a hot potato. “That’s a different department.” “Someone will call you.” “We’ll escalate it.” Nothing happens. Or worse – I get offered a new plan that makes no sense and doesn’t fix what you broke.

I feel like I’m yelling into a void. Do you think I have time to keep chasing the same issue over and over again? Do you understand how exhausting it is to constantly fight for something that should have been sorted from the beginning?

Telstra, you took my loyalty and threw it in the bin. I’ve been with you for over a decade. I’ve stuck with you through all your outages, price hikes, and poor service because I thought you had my back. But now I see the truth. You don’t care. Not about me. Not about any of us. Just numbers and sales.

Well here’s one number you can count on:
Zero.
That’s the number of stars I give you. That’s the number of future plans I’ll be signing with you if this isn’t resolved.

I’ve taken this to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman. I’m not backing down. I want this fixed. I want accountability. And I want people to know – be very careful dealing with Telstra.

Because if they can do this to me, they can do it to anyone.

Enough is enough.
