๐ฟ Healing, Connection, and a Protein-Packed Treat: A Slice of My Life
Lately, life’s felt like a gentle rhythm—some days are slow and steady, others are full of unexpected joy. I’ve been leaning into the things that help me heal, grow, and feel connected. Whether it’s therapy, family, or a new friendship that’s lighting up my days, I’m grateful for the mix.
๐ง♂️ Therapy That Moves Me Forward
Physio with George Campbell at Active Care Capalaba continues to be a highlight. His holistic approach and empathy make every session feel like progress—not just physically, but emotionally too. Psychology with Jodi has also been going well. She’s helped me unpack a lot and I’m learning to express more, not just hold things in.
Chiropractic care is still part of my routine. Jake’s been away, but I had the pleasure of seeing Regina recently. She brought a fresh energy to the sessions, and it was honestly awesome to experience a different perspective.
And when I need a little boost between appointments, I’ve been loving Carile Reid’s videos on Instagram and TikTok. He energy is contagious and he insights always seem to land just when I need them.
๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ Family, Work, and Support That Grounds Me
My family’s doing well, which brings a sense of peace. Work is steady, and my support worker continues to be a solid presence—someone I can count on. These anchors in my life help me stay balanced, especially when things feel uncertain.
๐ฌ A New Friendship That Sparkles
I’ve made a new friend on Snapchat—Jake Cousemacker—and wow, it’s been amazing. We talk every chance we get, and I find myself snapping him more than anyone else. He’s caring, lovely, and always brings happiness into the conversation. It’s rare to meet someone who just gets you, and I’m really grateful for the connection.
