Coffee with Luke: Meet My Wonderful Support Worker, Nathan Whitby

Welcome to the first post in my "Coffee with Luke" blog series! Today, I want to share a bit about one of my fantastic support workers, Nathan Whitby, who I found through Mable. Nathan used to work for a company, but now he’s an independent support worker. And let me tell you, working with him has been a game-changer.

The Importance of the Meet-and-Greet

One of the most important things when choosing a support worker is the meet-and-greet. It’s your chance to get to know them before you start using their services. When I first met Nathan, I was a little anxious about the whole process, but once we started talking, we just clicked. I knew right away that he was the right person for me. That initial meeting gave me the confidence to move forward, and I haven’t looked back since.

A Little About Nathan

If you’re into Dragon Ball, Pokémon, or anime, you’ll love getting to know Nathan! He’s got a lot of interests that make for great conversation, and he’s always up for a good chat. But beyond that, Nathan’s punctuality and reliability stand out. He always arrives on time and is an excellent companion during our sessions. Whether it’s a planned activity or coming up with ideas on the spot, Nathan is always prepared.

Why Nathan Stands Out

One thing I really appreciate about Nathan is that he’s open to letting you check in with him via message if you need support outside of your regular sessions. That kind of flexibility can be incredibly important, especially for people who need that extra connection.

I’ve had many sessions with Nathan now, and they’ve all run so smoothly. Over time, we’ve built a strong connection, and our relationship feels more like a friendship than just a working relationship. He truly understands what I need and goes out of his way to make sure each session is meaningful.

Looking for a Support Worker? Give Nathan a Go!

If you’re in the market for a support worker, I highly recommend giving Nathan a go. He won’t disappoint you. Nathan goes above and beyond to help you achieve your goals, and I’ve personally found his support invaluable. I’m not sure what his current availability is, but you’re welcome to reach out to him and see if he can fit you in. Trust me, you’ll be glad you did!
