☕️ Coffee with Luke: Life, Lattes & Little Victories – May 2025

Hey friends,

Welcome back to another edition of Coffee with Luke. Grab your favourite brew, find a cosy corner, and let’s catch up.

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind—some calm days, some wild weather (literally and emotionally), and some moments that reminded me just how important connection, resilience, and reflection are.

Let’s start with the simple stuff: coffee. I’ve been on a bit of a journey trying out different local cafés in Brisbane. My current favourite? A little hidden gem in Bulimba that does an oat flat white so smooth it could win awards. If you’ve got any café recommendations, drop them my way—I’m always keen to discover new spots.

Now for the heart stuff. Lately, I’ve been focusing on healing—physically, emotionally, and mentally. With the help of my support team (shoutout to George, Travis, Jodi, and the rest of the crew—you know who you are!), I’m learning how to listen to my body and trust that I’m not broken, just rebuilding.

There’s also been a lot of reflecting on what makes life meaningful. Whether it's having a deep chat with Jacqui over lunch, taking photos of quiet sunsets, or even just choosing kindness when it feels hard—those little moments matter. They’re like sips of warm coffee on a cold day.

And speaking of connection, one of the biggest joys lately has been continuing to advocate for mental health. Sharing my story isn’t always easy, but if it helps one person feel less alone, it’s worth it. Let’s keep normalising the hard stuff.

So, wherever you are right now, I hope you’re being gentle with yourself. Life’s not always easy, but it’s always worth showing up for. And I’ll keep showing up—with coffee in hand and stories to share.

Until next time,
Luke ☕️
